I grew up in St. George, which is the part of Utah with gorgeous red rocks (like Zion’s National Park), unbearably hot summers, and lots of lizards. I homeschooled until college, which gave me a ton of freedom to develop my own interests, pursue my own projects, and read a lot of books.
Now I’m a senior at the University of Utah, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Mathematics. My research centers on interactive storytelling with an Automated Game Master (like from D&D). My undergraduate honors thesis focuses on plan-based language interaction for this Automated Game Master. This summer I’m in Seattle working on that project. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, and wirework crafts.
